1. Align on the Business Goal (Why)
Start at the center by defining the business goal. Answer: Why are we doing this? Make it a measurable target (e.g. increase active accounts by 10%).
2. Identify Target Personas (Who)
Map out who can produce the desired effect or who might obstruct it. These are your actors.
3. Define Behavior Changes (How) and Scope Deliverables (What)
Establish how the actors' behaviors should change to drive the goal, and define the features or deliverables needed to trigger those changes.
